Now, mid-2025, people are fooled by AI-generated videos, which show the "truth" of "reality". Both "truth" & "reality" are now rendered almost meaningless. As is "history". Those EVIL TWINS, - Technocracy and Transhumanism, - seem to be winning the battle for the hearts and minds of WE THE PEOPLE....
Exactly, Bill. When truth can be deepfaked and reality is just a rendering option, “history” becomes little more than a nostalgic screenplay—often rewritten by the very forces trying to erase it. Technocracy and Transhumanism don’t need to win by force; they just need to confuse, distract, and seduce. And judging by the standing ovation for Hamilton last night, the cultural spell is still working on half the country.
The rest of us? We’re just trying to remember what it felt like before every “revolution” came with corporate backing and a PR team.
2 points: I can't agree that it's "half the country". In general, casual, common speak, yes, it's "us"(1/2) Vs. "them"(1/2)..... But in reality, isn't more like 1/3, or 1/4 of the population that "thinks that way"? Look, Republicans & Democrats BOTH TOGETHER can't get more than 20% of registered voters to actually show up & vote. So I say that BOTH psrties represent at most 40 - 60% of the U.S. Population. See what I mean? WE THE PEOPLE are divided in 2, then thirds, then quarters, then eighths, etc.,.... How many in that applauding audience really KNOW their history? Isn't that audience ITSELF, also just another act in the puppet show?....
Bill, you're making a fair and important point. The "half the country" framing is often rhetorical shorthand—it feels like halves when media and algorithms amplify the loudest factions. But you're right: in reality, it’s more like a fragmented sliver war. A third vote, a quarter rage online, an eighth dig into the details—and most just keep their heads down trying to survive.
As for the audience—absolutely. The applause is often part of the performance. Whether it’s a Broadway theater or a voting booth, people are coached, conditioned, and curated. Clapping on cue isn’t the same as knowing what you’re clapping for. So yes—the audience is often just the next act in the puppet show. Well said.
Because I taught US history for years, I knew of Hamilton’s elitism. So this piece is a refreshing reminder of just how far gone our elites have wandered from any relationship with truth.
Thank you, Mary Ann. It’s reassuring to hear from someone who actually taught the real Hamilton—not the remixed, rhyming version with a diversity overlay. The tragedy isn’t just that the elites whitewashed the past—it’s that they did it while congratulating themselves for being “inclusive.” Hamilton didn’t rewrite history to educate—it rewrote it to flatter. And now the cultural gatekeepers can't even recognize how far they've drifted from the truth they once claimed to defend.
Well said - thank you!
I'm so sick of hearing the word "elite" to describe the parasitic predators.
