I’m not a huge fan of country music, but this song is exceptional. Yes, the masking up while alone in a car is an odd phenomenon that persists in this city where I live—in Florida of all places! Maybe it has to do with the “gone to pot” that you mention in your song. That seems to be very prevalent here.
