Long before Queen Elizabeth took the clot shots and probably expired a good six years before she was probably supposed to and long before Prince Charles became a certified globalist, I wtote a show entitled Charles & Diana: The Musical.
My take on it back in 2005 when it was first produced at the Midtown International Theatre Festival in NYC was more favorable to the Royal Family as there were things I read about Diana that cast her in a negative light.
However today I think I would balance it out showing Diana’s side more favorably.
Above is a link to the opening number entitled Vicar Bones Time Machine.
You can also download a free PDF which contains a synopsis of the show as well as links to all the songs and the lyrics.
The free program can be downloded here:

Here is the logline and a blurb describing the show.
Logline: If Princess Diana could go back to relive her high profile, tumultuous life, would she make different choices?
Charles & Diana: The Musical, offers her that opportunity. At the moment of her death, an encounter with a mysterious, all-knowing guide, Vicar Bones, provides her with a crucial moment of decision. We revisit scenes from her eventful life through her own eyes, as the royals, media hounds and hangers-on who surrounded her come to life in a lively score that reflects a widerange of influences, from 1980s pop music to the Beatles and British dance hall music.
Highlights from the 2005 production.
And it just so happens we had another production done in 2016 by the Morningside Players, a local theater group near where I live.
I am loving this creative take on Princess Diana who became a cultural phenomenon.
